The police of Tirana have today arrested a 23-year-old suspected of aggression against a nurse at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.
The event happened yesterday (August 14), in the hospital premises, and the circumstances and motives are still unknown. As a result of the attack, the white shirt received minor injuries and reported the event and the perpetrator to the law enforcement bodies.
In order to find evidence that serves the investigation, evidence is being collected and possible footage from security cameras at the hospital is being verified. The injured nurse was also questioned.
Commissariat no. 4 confirmed that immediately after the alert, he identified, located and handcuffed the suspect with the initials A. Zh., 23 years old, resident in Tirana. He has been charged with "hitting due to duty". The testimony of the aggressor is also expected to be heard later.
Tirana police also announced that they have made 5 arrests and other proceedings in the last 24 hours. Specifically; an 18-year-old convicted with 4 months for theft, a 17-year-old accused of malicious damage, a 34-year-old for stalking his ex-girlfriend and 2 drivers for an accident with minor consequences, with so many injured and in a drunken state.
