A 62-year-old man from Erseka lost contact with his family today. According to media reports, the 62-year-old had informed his family members that he would return to Albania from Greece by crossing the Gramoz mountain.
In their last contact, he had confessed that he would travel to Erseka via Mount Gramozi, but after that phone call, the 60-year-old has not contacted his family anymore.
Family members are afraid of the fact that the weather conditions did not help the 60-year-old on this trip due to snowfall, frost and cold.
In the meantime, the police have been looking for him, contacting the Greek state if there is a possibility of returning him, otherwise the search will also start in the Gramozi mountain. Searches are currently being conducted on both sides of the border. The 60-year-old had gone to Greece for seasonal work.
