56-year-old Pëllumb Toçi, who had been searched for several hours by police forces in the Elbasan region, has been found dead after his family reported losing contact.
Toçi was found dead in the canyons of Gjinari, where he is suspected of having fallen accidentally. He had gone out to look for the dog that was guarding his livestock.
After several hours of searching on the ground, the dog was found in the village of Pashtresh, but not Pëllumb Toçi. In such conditions, the search operation continued, in which the Mountain Search and Rescue team, as well as residents of the area, were also involved.
In the evening hours, it was reported that the body of the 56-year-old was found in the canyons of Gjinari.
