The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has presented the final conclusions for one of the factions of the file known as "Revanshi", where the defendants are Emiljano Shullazi, Astrit Avdyli, Gjergji Cukali, etc. SPAK has requested a total of 127 years in prison, but the defendants have benefited from a shortened trial, a procedure that brings a reduction in sentence.
According to the prosecution's claim, a sentence of 15 years in prison has been requested for Astrit Avdyli, which is reduced to 10 years due to the summary trial. The same measure has been requested for Emiljano Shullazi, for whom SPAK has requested 15 years in prison, which is reduced to 10 years due to the summary trial.
For Naim Stafuka, 9 years in prison were requested, with a shortened sentence to 6 years in prison, and for Blerim Abazi, 10 years in prison, with a shortened sentence reduced to 6 years and 8 months in prison.
This faction is part of the extensive "Revanshi" file, which in total includes 14 defendants, including Enver Dida, Besian Xhixha, Robert Laçi, Drianto Bardhi, Miri Bruli, Xhelal Rraja, Viktor Imeraj, Satilno Basho, Naim Stafuka and Blerim Abazi.
According to SPAK's investigations, the group is suspected of having functioned as an organized criminal structure, with interconnected activities and plans to commit several murders. The prosecution alleges that Astrit Avdyli, Emiljano Shullazi, Blerim Abazi and Naim Stafuka collaborated with other individuals to kill Durim and Valter Bami, while other episodes in the file also include plans for assassinations against other citizens.
Other cases are also mentioned in this case, where, according to the prosecution, conditions and means were provided to commit murders, as well as illegal activities related to illegal possession of weapons, illegal border crossing, and suspected communications from prison premises to order crimes.
The "Revanshi" file is considered one of SPAK's most important investigations into organized crime, while the court's final decision is expected to determine the criminal liability of the defendants based on the evidence presented in the process.
