Changes continue in the State Police. The Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, has signed the new appointments in the leadership structures of the blue uniforms.
Reports indicate that Florjan Rrasa has been appointed Director of Economic and Financial Crime Investigation at the General Directorate of the State Police. The latter has held leadership positions in the Police structures, starting from Chief of the Police Station to Chief of the Computer Fraud Investigation Sector, at the Directorate for Cyber Crime Investigation, at the Criminal Police Department, at the General Directorate of the State Police.
Meanwhile, Taulant Gjoka has been appointed deputy director for Order in the local police department of Fier. The latter previously held managerial positions in the Fier District Police Department, but by order of Ilir Proda he was dismissed from his duties and expelled from the police ranks. But Proda's decision did not last long, as the Professional Standards Department considered his measures to be unfounded and illegal.
