A 34-year-old man from Lazarati was arrested yesterday evening after driving a vehicle in a drunken state on the "Gjirokastër-Kakavije" axis, he collided with a police officer's vehicle.
Fortunately, as a result of the accident, there were no injuries, but only material damage.
" The Traffic Police Sector arrested in flagrante delicto the RM citizen, 34 years old, resident of Lazarat, after yesterday evening, on the "Gjirokastër-Kakavije" road axis, the vehicle he was driving in a drunken state collided with the vehicle driven by the MK citizen, (employee police, out of service), 64 years old, resident in Gjirokastër.
As a result of the accident, there was only material damage. With MK citizens, administrative actions were carried out by the Traffic Police.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions" , the police announced.
