A serious incident happened today in Shënavlash of Durrës, after the boy killed his father and threw him into a well. The event happened about 20 days ago, where Esmerald Balla initially reported the disappearance of his 62-year-old father Enver Balla to the police.
But the police have started investigations and thanks to telephone and environmental interceptions, they have raised suspicions that the 62-year-old was actually killed. After facing the facts, the boy admitted that he committed the crime. The 34-year-old has stated that there was a fight between them, this after his father had taken 75 million old lek from the safe of the apartment, which were family savings. During the ongoing argument, the young man shot him with a shotgun and then threw him into the well, to hide his tracks.
The incident seems to have been heard, and in fact, in February of this year, not far from the Balla family's apartment, another almost identical crime took place. Pigeon Meta was killed inside his apartment and the body was buried inside the cattle shed. As in the case of the 62-year-old, it was the boy who reported to the police that he had disappeared.
The murder was taken over by his daughter, Hygerta, but later the police found out through wiretapping that her two brothers were also involved. The police even suspect that the eldest son and not the daughter committed the murder. They are in jail today and are expected to go on trial.
So we have events that are almost the same. The children kill their fathers in cold blood, then hide the bodies and declare them missing.
