A 37-year-old man was arrested by the police of Shkodra after moving armed and suspected of committing criminal acts.
Marjan (Zamir) Gjoni from Vau i Dejës, has been previously convicted in the country and abroad, for criminal activity in the field of narcotics and for fraud.
As soon as he was located by the blue uniforms, he tried to leave but was then neutralized and handcuffed by the police.
It is reported that during the search inside the "Audi" type vehicle, under the rear passenger seat, the Police found and seized a Kalashnikov firearm and 2 combs with military ammunition.
The police are continuing the investigation to fully elucidate the circumstances of the incident.
