Yesterday, the "Eagle" forces arrested 34-year-old Aurel Deliu, a resident of Nikël, in Rinas.
He is suspected of being part of Marklen Haka's group.
Deliu was caught driving a vehicle, while carrying a firearm, a pistol, while he was in the company of another person at the moment he was stopped for a check by the "Eagle" forces.
Aurel Deliu is a person with a criminal record and previously filed by the police. In 2021, he was arrested in Tirana together with 29-year-old Alban Tufa, after violently resisting police officers, while Marklen Haka, 30, and Bledar Kurti, 40, were declared wanted. The conflict with the officers occurred on "Marie Logoreci" street, in Tirana.
In the young people's vehicle, a considerable amount of money in euros and lek was found, items used for cutting narcotics, 1 wallet with the police emblem and 4 mobile phones, which were seized by the police as evidence. It is also suspected that Deliu had a weapon with him at the time.
Marklen Haka is part of the "Nikla Gang" and in September 2019 he survived an assassination attempt on his home, where his aunt, Shpresa Basha, was killed. Marklen Haka managed to escape with only a bullet in his arm.
Marklen Haka was previously arrested for a murder that occurred in June 2011 in the former Blloku area of Tirana, but was released due to lack of evidence.
He was arrested in January of this year and handcuffed by RENEA after an operation that led to the arrest of 19 people. Haka is currently in custody and is being tried in the 'Revanshi' case.
