A 34-year-old man identified as Aurel Deliu, a resident of Nikël, was arrested by the Police while traveling in a vehicle, where an unlicensed firearm was also found. Reports indicate that Deliu is known to be part of the Marklen Haka group.
According to reports, the 34-year-old was in the company of another person at the time he was stopped for a check by the Eagle forces.
Deliu is a well-known name to the police. In 2021, he was arrested in Tirana along with another person and two others were declared wanted. At that time, he did not obey the police order to be searched.
Armed with weapons, police badges and thousands of euros, 3 young men from Kruja and one from Tirana challenged the capital's police. The incident was recorded in the area near "Xhamlliku" in 2021 where 4 young men were traveling in a "Volkswagen" vehicle when they were stopped by a patrol of the Shqiponja forces.
The young men did not obey the police orders and physically confronted them, splitting into 2 groups. The 2 people who fled also took with them a pistol that was in the waistband of one of the young men who was handcuffed by the police.
During the search of the vehicle, the police found and seized a significant amount of cash in euros and lek, cell phones and scissors, which were used to cut the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, as well as a wallet with the police emblem.
