The Tirana police arrested a 33-year-old woman after she was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months for practicing and exploiting prostitution.
The arrest of 33-year-old A. Xh from Tirana was made within the police operation coded "Location". She was sentenced by the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, with 1 year and 4 months imprisonment for the criminal offenses "Prostitution" and "Exploitation of prostitution".
"The services of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic in DVP Tirana in cooperation with the Pogradec Police Station, in implementation of the measures drawn up within the police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law", based on the information provided about the location of a citizen in search, have intensified controls for her capture and bringing her to legal responsibility. As a result, citizen A. Xh., 33 years old, resident in Tirana, who was declared wanted after the Court of First Instance of the Jurisdiction of General of Tirana, has sentenced him to 1 year and 4 months of imprisonment for the criminal offenses "Prostitution" and "Exploitation of prostitution", according to the police announcement.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
