Greek police have discovered a hashish plantation with at least 6,000 cannabis plants. This is the second plantation discovered in two weeks.
According to the Greek media, the main grower and two Albanians who took care of the hashish were captured by the police.
The operation took place yesterday morning on an area of 20 hectares where corn was cultivated in the rural area "Pavlos" in Orchomenos.
The owner of the corn plantation was a Greek from Phthiotida. But among the corn he had chosen to cultivate hashish as well.
The sale of cannabis would bring over 12 million euros in profit.
In the area of the plantation, the two Albanians who were taking care of the hashish were found, while a little later the owner of the property was also arrested.
