A 15-year-old Albanian from the Roma community was seriously injured by gunfire in Aspropyrgo, Greece.
The young man was found on the road by a driver, who immediately transported him to the hospital in Thriasios. According to reports, his health condition is critical.
The Greek police suspect that the perpetrator shot the 15-year-old inside an apartment in the Nea Zoi area and then threw him on the street to hide the incident. Investigations to identify the perpetrator continue.
The serious event comes at a time when the Greek authorities are facing great challenges due to the increase in the criminal activities of organized groups from Albania, especially in drug trafficking.
In recent months, clashes between these groups have resulted in innocent casualties, including the killing of a 5-year-old and the wounding of two women.
For one of these cases, several Albanians originally from Fieri have been declared wanted.
