A 29-year-old man was arrested today after being accused of 7 different thefts in the city of Vlora.
From the investigative actions, it appears that this citizen, disguised with a hood, cape and gloves, and under the use of items such as a hammer and crowbar, has committed burglaries in various markets in the city of Vlora.
During the arrest, it was learned that the items used during the thefts were also seized.
Police Notification:
Vlorë/Finalized police operation coded "Shadow". 7 cases of theft committed in the city of Vlora are clarified and documented.
The suspected perpetrator is identified and arrested. Items used during thefts are seized.
The services of the Vlora Police Station, based on the information provided by the informational intelligence and operational work in the field, successfully completed the coded police operation "Shadow", as a result of which the citizen was detained:
• EB, 29 years old, resident of Vlora.
The investigative actions show that this citizen, disguised with a hood, cape and gloves, and using items such as a hammer and crowbar, has committed burglaries in various markets in the city of Vlora, specifically:
• On 12.12.2024, in the neighborhood "Pavarësia", in a market he stole cigarette butts and a sum of money from the cash register;
• On 16.12.2024, in the neighborhood "1 Maji", in a market, he stole a sum of money;
• On 18.12.2024, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood, in a market, he stole a sum of money;
• On 23.12.2024, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood, he tried to steal a market;
• On 24.12.2024, in the same neighborhood, he stole a sum of money from a market;
• On 29.12.2024, in the neighborhood "Pavarësia", he stole two markets, taking products and a sum of money.
As evidence, the following were seized: a cape with a hood, a crowbar, two hammers, a pair of gloves and some stolen products.
The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Vlorë, for the criminal offense "Theft".
