Gunshots were reported in the early hours of January 1 at a night club in the capital.
The police informs that they have identified the perpetrator of the gunshots, while adding that they have interrogated several people who know about the incident.
No one was injured in the shooting.
"The services of Police Station No. 2, after the notification received about gunshots in a festive environment on "Liman Kaba" street on 01.01.2024, in the early hours of the morning, immediately organized the work with the aim of identifying author and complete documentation of the event.
Following the intensive actions, the services of the Police Station No. 2, accompanied and questioned many citizens who gave their statements regarding the incident in the capacity of a person who knows about the incident.
As a result of the actions and the inspection of the cameras, it became possible to identify the citizen who had fired a firearm in the air. Because the investigation is ongoing, we do not disclose its generality. No one was injured in the incident.
Police Station No. 2, in cooperation with the District Prosecutor's Office, are working on the complete documentation of the event, as well as on the capture and criminal responsibility of the suspected perpetrator ," the police announced.
