A serious incident happened during the night in the city of Korça, where an 18-year-old man from Durrës jumped from the 9th floor of a building.
It is known that an 18-year-old man from Durrës ended his life by jumping from the 9th floor of a building, in the area where the terminal of the southeastern city is located.
According to preliminary information, the 18-year-old with the initials GM had gone to Korça to celebrate with some of his friends and had rented one of the entrances of the palace. After yesterday evening's celebrations, he jumped out of the window and died on the spot.
In the preliminary information about the event, the blue uniforms indicate that the dead body was transported to the Korçë hospital morgue, to carry out medical-legal actions, as it is suspected that the young man was under the influence of alcohol.
In the meantime, the police escorted all the people who were found in the premises they had rented, and their interview continues for the complete clarification of the circumstances and the mechanism of the serious incident.
So, the investigative group is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances that led the 18-year-old to suicide.
On 25.12.2023, around 03:50, in neighborhood no. 17, Korçë, citizen GM, 18 years old, resident of Durrës, was found dead on the sidewalk. From the first investigations, it is suspected that this citizen, under the influence of alcoholic beverages, may have thrown himself from the terrace of a building, in which the 18-year-old, together with some other friends, had taken daily rent, an apartment entrance on the eighth floor his (last) one.', the police announce.
