A 47-year-old Albanian set himself on fire with gasoline in Milan, Italy.
On Tuesday afternoon (May 7), he set himself on fire in front of his wife and some passers-by in the center of Riccione after he was informed that he would be evicted from the house.
He was admitted to the Bufalini hospital in Cesena in a very serious condition, while it is known that he suffered burns on 70% of his body. His wife, of Romanian origin, is also hospitalized in a state of shock.
According to what the Italian media reports, it is expected that the reasons for the event will be clarified in the future. First, it will be necessary to establish whether eviction was the reason why he set himself on fire, and secondly, whether the couple had not occupied the house without authorization.
