As less than 48 hours have passed since the serious event of the mafia execution of the 23-year-old Gëzim Sinomati, his family has officially announced the funeral ceremony of the young man on Tuesday.
The authorities have officially confirmed the participation in the ceremony of the father of the victim, Sokol Sinomati, who has requested permission from the authorities to be present, as he is currently serving his sentence.
During the last few hours, the blues of Vlora have checked dozens of apartments and residences in Vlora and Selenica of the main exponents known as opponents of Sinomat over the years.
Over 20 people are currently escorted, but so far no arrest order has been confirmed by the Blues of Vlora.
The investigative team has shared details about the weapon of the crime, obtained from the ballistic examination of the shell found at the scene and the one in the victim's body.
The execution was carried out with a sniper with a caliber 7 mm cartridge and precision up to 1 thousand meters.
The officially confirmed tracks are related to the criminal past of Sokol Sinomat, the victim's father, and his activity after the 1997s.
During the last few years, the "Belgium Gang" has been attacked several times, with 6 members missing between 2014-2016 and 4 killed in 2019-2020 assassinations, including the incident two days ago.
But the authorities do not exclude the murder with motives of the recent conflicts in Belgium over a stolen amount of cocaine, where two people were killed during the last months.
