Some new details have been revealed from Bedrie Loka's suicide after the testimony of family members.
According to the daughter of the 41-year-old deceased, her mother was physically and psychologically abused by her father, Xhemal Loku. One of the events that hurt Bedrien were several letters sent by a French woman, who said she had a romantic relationship with the 45-year-old, R. Loku testified.
"They haven't had good relations with each other for a year, they've been arguing since February 2023... because my grandmother had a thrombosis and my father wouldn't let my mother visit my grandmother. My mother was very emotionally and psychologically burdened and many times she expressed that she would end her life because she said she was tired. The last communication I had with my mother... was at around 10:30 p.m. and... and she told me that she was still arguing... I said yes, so let that conversation go and shut up, well no, mom told me, I'll shut up. Sometime in September 2023, mom ... found dad ... some letters in French that were sent by a ... woman ... she was a French woman and she communicated with my brother and told him that she had an affair with Xhemal ... this has was a reason that killed my mother very psychologically".
She testified that just one day before the suicide, the two parents had a fierce argument with each other.
"Mom and dad always had arguments with each other and they didn't have a good relationship. They always argued, even the day before my mother died, the day before she drank poison, she had a strong argument, because she didn't allow my mother to go to my grandmother's house, and she started cursing and insulting my mother. The debate that night lasted from about 19:00 until 23:00. When my father was in Greece, almost a year ago, he called my mother on her cell phone and they told her that I will make you kill yourself, remember. The reason for this action was that my mother was very threatened and offended by my father. "My mother had frequent conflicts with my father," the testimony says.
