An unusual incident broadcast live on social media occurred yesterday evening in the city of Korça, where 26-year-old Kostandin Dramolli, a former well-known Albanian football goalkeeper, broke the windows of the Municipality building in protest against the government's actions to free up public spaces.
The young man was arrested by the Korça police.
The event was filmed and shared in real time by Dramolli himself, who during the broadcast is heard mentioning the name of Prime Minister Edi Rama as he says: “Look how the municipality is being attacked.” According to him, the revolt came as a result of the demolition of several structures in neighborhood no. 14, where he has lived for years.

Kostandin Dramolli, known by his stage name "Çekiçi 14" after retiring from football, is currently active in the rap music scene. His name is closely linked to the area where he lived and to a rebellious identity, which he has not hesitated to display publicly.
In his sports career, Dramolli has been part of teams such as Skënderbeu, where he was declared champion with the U-19 team – Bylis, Pogradeci, Maliqi and Pierikos in Greece.
Following the incident, debates have flared up on social media, while sources close to the authorities indicate that the young man is a person with a criminal record and has previously been sentenced to prison by the court.
The event has brought back into focus the social tensions that accompany the actions to liberate public spaces, while an official reaction is expected from the Municipality of Korça regarding the situation.
