A few months ago, Beytja was shot in the apartment, where his brother-in-law, Ramazan Sino, was killed and his two children were injured.
In July 2023, an assassination was carried out against him as a result of which his wife's brother Ramazan Sino was killed, and his two children, aged 13 and 8, were injured.
On January 9, 2022, Gentian Bejtja, a former prison policeman, escaped an assassination attempt with a Kalashnikov volley, near Nikla in Fushë-Kruje, but his 31-year-old friend Klodian Stafuka, who was with him in the car during the moment they stopped to fill up the car at a gas station.
Bejtja was one of the people who drank coffee with Enver Stafuka, a few minutes before he was kidnapped and disappeared in the middle of Fushë-Kruja, on the night of February 8, 2015.
Known as a former friend of Durim Bami, a person of high social risk, 43-year-old Gentjan Bejtja has been suspected of a series of events in the Fushë-Kruja area, but not only.
In September 2016, he was assassinated with tritol. Bejtja was traveling in his "Tuareg" type car, in the village of Nikël in Krujë, when the explosive exploded from under the vehicle, severely injuring his leg.
He has been mentioned as the person who, together with Enver Stafuka, is suspected of having stolen the car with which the murder of Chief Commissioner Dritan Lamajt was carried out, on February 24, 2013. But by a court decision, Betja and Stafuka were declared innocent on November 13, 2013, after being assessed that there was insufficient evidence to convict them on the charge of conspiracy to commit theft.
Gentian Bejtja has also been accused of two assassinations, the murder of Ilias Çali on the Tirana-Durres highway in April 2022 and the assassination of Marklen Haka in June last year, but no evidence was found to accuse him as the perpetrator suspects.
