
The Italian anti-mafia, in collaboration with the Albanian SPAK and German authorities, have cracked down on an Italian-Albanian criminal organization that was involved in cocaine and heroin trafficking.
At the center of the investigation by the Italian authorities are 29 people suspected of involvement in international trafficking of narcotics, mainly heroin and cocaine, originating from Albania and the Netherlands, destined for the Italian market. Together with the number of people under investigation in Albania, the total number of arrest warrants is 52.
According to the investigative file of the Italian authorities, the organization had as its main leader the citizen Xhevdet Troplini.
Xhevdet Troplini's main intermediaries in this activity are suspected to have been Adi Çoba and Elvis Doçi, known as "Visi i Pojës".
