Zoi Ksila, the 24-year-old woman you see in the photo, tragically lost her life on the evening of January 1, 2025 in a road accident.
Zoi was the daughter of two parents of Albanian origin, but she was born and raised in Greece, so she held a Greek passport. She came to celebrate the New Year together with her Albanian fiance but did not return alive to her country, because the cars collided only 20 km before arriving in Kapshtica. The serious accident occurred around 22:00, on the national axis "Korçë-Bilisht", where there is a complete lack of lighting.
The "Peugeot" driven by Claudio Kishta, the victim's fiancé, and the "Benz" driven by Trifon Mehmeti were involved in the accident. The suspected cause is the speed of the two drivers who were stopped by the police, as well as the wrong steering wheel maneuver.
