An incident happened on New Year's Eve in a club in Tirana.
At Cinco Cavalli, one of the most popular clubs in the capital, during an event where the singer Stresi was performing and Dafina Zeqiri was expected to appear on stage, gunshots were heard. Despite the security measures, a person with previous precedents managed to enter the premises of the New Year party armed.
He was identified as Jetmir Pepa, otherwise known as Mir Pepa. This name came to the center of attention last summer, when his ex-wife, Mariela Berisha, attacked and injured the girlfriend of 'casanova' Pepa, Klea Prenga, in a bar in Tirana. Meanwhile, the images of the incident and the moment when the police enter the club have been published.
" The services of Police Station No. 2, after the notification received about gunshots in a festive environment on "Liman Kaba" street on 01.01.2024, in the early hours of the morning, immediately organized the work with the aim of identifying author and complete documentation of the event.
Following the intensive actions, the services of the Police Station No. 2, accompanied and questioned in the capacity of the person who knows about the event many citizens who gave their statement regarding the event. And following the actions as a result of the investigation cameras, it became possible to identify the citizen who had fired a firearm in the air. Because the investigation is ongoing, we do not disclose its generality. No one was injured in the incident.
Police Station No. 2, in cooperation with the District Prosecutor's Office, are working on the complete documentation of the event, as well as on the capture and criminal responsibility of the suspected perpetrator ," the police announced.
