Police have identified and declared wanted 48-year-old Kamber Sulçaj as the suspected perpetrator of the murder of Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi, 44. However, the incident still carries a lot of mystery.
Security expert Fatjon Softa has raised many questions regarding this event.
" Initially, they said that they were with 3 other Albanians and were hunting. Why was this person (the perpetrator) in that place? Then we call it coincidence or for banal reasons? So an armed person was in a certain place. Second, were they going hunting or not? If they were going hunting, in which area ?" - Softa says.
Although the official reason so far is that the incident occurred after an argument over the car's high beams, expert Softa emphasizes that other clues cannot be ruled out.
"The possible plot that we may have and staging that could be for other interests cannot be ruled out ," Softa said.
For all these reasons and questions, Fatjon Softa proposed the idea of having the Albanian investigative group joined by investigators from Italy who could help solve the incident, also because the victim is an Italian citizen.
" I hope that Italian investigators can join the investigation team, they could make it more professional, because the more you treat it, the more enigmatic it seems. Phone calls, communications, tabulations, for a long time can be checked for the suspected perpetrator, for the people who were with the victim, and for the Italian. We think, with this information that is there, it is said that he was drunk, problematic and no casings were found. How is it possible in the dark, in a difficult position, who collected the casings? Who took them? Are they metal or plastic with a metal ring if they are from a shotgun? How were they not found at the scene of the incident. All of this makes it a mystery. That is why perhaps an investigation team from Italy could come ", the expert continued.
The suspected perpetrator of the murder of the Italian businessman remains at large. The murder weapon has not even been found.
