
New details have emerged from the clash that occurred on Thursday evening between Greek police and Albanian Astrit Hasani, known by the nickname "Titi", in the Mikrolimano area of Piraeus.
According to the Greek Police, after neutralizing him, authorities discovered an arsenal of weapons and narcotics that he was carrying with him and in a backpack near the scene.
Two loaded and ready-to-use pistols, as well as a revolver, were found in his possession. One of the weapons that, according to the police, was aimed at the officers had a live round and a magazine with 32 rounds.

In the backpack that was found near the place where he was initially found, police also seized a quantity of drugs and six hand grenades.
According to the official version of the Greek authorities, the officers attempted to stop him for a search, but he initially tried to evade them. He then allegedly pulled out a gun at the officers with the intention of shooting, which prompted the reaction of a police officer, who used his service weapon, wounding and neutralizing him.

Greek police say that the Albanian nicknamed "Titi" has been considered a person with a serious criminal record since 1995. According to authorities, he has been involved in cases related to murder, attempted murder, criminal organization, robbery, police hostage-taking, rape and other serious offenses.

According to the same sources, an international red notice and a European arrest warrant had also been issued against him for a number of charges, including attempted murder, robbery committed in collaboration, prisoner escape, resisting authorities, and illegal possession of weapons.

Greek authorities claim that he was arrested outside Greece in 2019 and had served his sentence in his country until 2025. According to preliminary investigative data, during 2026 he had illegally entered Greek territory.
