The former director of the Road Authority of Albania, (ARRSH) Evis Berberi and the two businessmen associated with him, Valter Begaj, and Ervis Lami have been left in prison by GJKKO.
After the end of the session, his lawyer, Gentian Romano, told the media that no other person has unfairly benefited from Berber's tenders. He says that SPAK has turned a commercial civil case into a criminal case.
The lawyer said that Berberi has nothing to do with the company 'DAAM' sh.pk, as he sold it.
He also showed the position that Barber has taken in the session together with his two partners, saying that they have an opponent to the accusations raised by SPAK.
"They turned a commercial civil case into a criminal case. During this time, you followed the civil-commercial legal relationship between the parties in this process, which was then determined by SPAK as a criminal case. We had our position against the accusations that have been made by the Prosecutor's Office, they are accusations that seek to constrain the court to the extent of securing prison terms.
It has not unfairly benefited from any tender from other persons. The owners of the company are others, Berberi has sold the company to other people. No longer the owner of the company it claims to be.
It is inappropriately abused with economic values. These things will be clarified, real economic analyzes will be presented from our side. There are no earned values. They turned a commercial civil legal process into a criminal case," said the lawyer.
