Greek police have busted a drug distribution group in the Megaron area of Athens.
Initially, the police struck a distribution group on June 27, 2023, where 2 people were arrested and 1 more wanted, but police information revealed that they were not the only people who made up the criminal group.
According to the Greek police, another line of this group operated under the leadership of 30-year-old Albanian Armando Bregasi. In October 2023, the Greek police intercepted 3 mobile phone numbers suspected of distributing narcotics. Users of these numbers were identified as Ardiano Xhangollari, 44 years old, and Manuel Toska, 35 years old.
As collaborators of the two Albanians, the investigations also revealed the names of the Albanians Armando Bregasi, 30 years old, Kozeta Bregasi, 52 years old, Enis Morava, 39 years old, Euklid Ago, 35 years old and Arben Memajdini, 40 years old, the Greek Vasileios Dhiamantopoulos, 35 years old but the activity of an as yet unidentified citizen was also discovered.
The investigations showed that the members of this criminal group deal with the sale of narcotics, mainly quantities of cocaine, for the purpose of illegal financial benefits, which they then legalize through the businesses held by the head of the group and the main members, including fuel.
During the police operation carried out by the Megaron police in cooperation with the OPKE team and with the help of sniffer dogs, 5 apartments of Armando and Kozeta Bregasi, Ardiano Xhangollari, Manuel Toska, Arben Memajdin and Vasileios Dhiamantopoulos and the businesses of Armando Bregasi and Ardiano Xhangollari were searched. .
From the checks, 219 grams of cocaine, 180 grams of marijuana, drugs, 22 thousand 460 euros, 50 pounds, an air pistol, 8 mobile phones, 3 electronic scales, cards and bank books, handwriting as well as luxury vehicles 2 "Audi Q5" and 1 "VW Golf" and 2 motorbikes.
During the operation, Armando Bregasi, Kozeta Bregasi, Ardiani Xhangollari, Manuel Toska and Vasileios Dhiamantopoulos were arrested, while Enis Morava, Euklid Ago and Arben Memajdini were declared wanted. The latter, a resident of Saranda, was also arrested in 2016 in Gjirokastër with 5.3 kg of marijuana.
