Nine people, members of a family, were rescued by the border police near the Krorëz beach in Borsh, after their lives were in danger from the boat that broke down in the sea.
According to the information, the dinghy had suffered an engine failure.
All nine citizens were transported by the Delta Special Unit to the Port of Saranda, in good health.
"The Delta Border Special Unit and the Maritime Police Unit in SPK Borsh helped 9 citizens from Tirana, whose lives were in danger in the vessel that had suffered a breakdown at sea.
Upon receiving the notification, the services of the Border Police and the Maritime Police Unit immediately went to the given address, near the Krorez beach, and found the dinghy-type boat, which had suffered a malfunction in the engine.
On board was the driver and his 8 family members, who had gone out together as a tourist guide in this area.
All nine citizens were transported by the Delta Special Unit to the Port of Saranda, in good health.
Also, their boat was transported by the Police to this port," the police announced.
