The court of Durrës has placed under 'house arrest' Taulant Demerxhiu and Vladimir Kokomani, who were arrested three days ago with a large amount of euro currency that was allegedly stolen from EU banks.
The police announced that 80,000 euros were found in the vehicle in which the two citizens were, suspected to have been stolen from banks in EU countries, with the aim of selling them on the domestic market.
The two detainees are suspected of having received the money from other persons who carried out the robberies abroad and were going to sell it to others.
