A 33-year-old man has been arrested by police in Vlora, after being accused of stealing money from two supermarkets.
The 33-year-old stole sums of money and cartons of cigarettes from two minimarkets, in the "Pavarësia 2" and "Isa Boletini" neighborhoods.
It is learned that the young man has been previously convicted of theft.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Station, in continuation of their work to solve the thefts, identify and capture the perpetrators, based on information obtained from investigative and tracking work, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Again".
As part of the operation, citizen EK, 33 years old, resident of the "Rilindja" neighborhood, Vlora, was arrested and detained for the criminal offense of "Theft".
The investigative actions have resulted in this citizen being the perpetrator of the theft of two commercial entities (minimarkets) in the city of Vlora, specifically:
On 29.01.2026, in the "Pavarësia 2" neighborhood, and on 31.01.2026, in the "Isa Boletini" neighborhood, this citizen is suspected of having stolen sums of money and cartons of cigarettes.
Work continues in collaboration with the Prosecutor's Office to clarify and legally document several other cases suspected of being committed by this citizen.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further legal action," the police announced.
