
The harassment of a judge in Kukës cost a person from Erseka but a resident of Tirana 4 months in prison, who continuously and repeatedly insulted, insulted and harassed a judge.
It is about judge Aulon Pashaj, who, due to occasional annoyance, on October 24, 2023, decided to report Ardit Bajram from Erseka, but a resident of Tirana, to police station No. 1 in Tirana.
The journalist of "Ora Neës", Elton Qyno, has learned that for this case of persecution, the judge of Tirana, Armela Hasantari, on September 25, 2024, has decided to initially declare Ardit Bajram guilty, sentencing him to 8 months in prison.
But due to the shortened trial, this sentence has been reduced to 4 months imprisonment.
Furthermore, Judge Hasantari has decided to suspend the serving of the prison sentence, converting it to probation on the condition that for a period of 8 months he does not commit any other criminal offense.
According to judge Pashaj's report, a person he does not know threatens him, disturbs him for no reason, repeatedly.
The first contact with this person was in 2020, on one of the first days of December where the judge had just left his apartment one evening and was walking near the "DEA" Hotel in Tirana.
At the beginning of the road, near the bakery, this person appeared in front of him threatening with different words, such as: "...come here, rabbit, spy, I'm talking to you...".
The judge declares that he was surprised by these words of this person as he had never seen him.
After three or four days, this episode was repeated again, where the first person stopped them on the street saying: "...I saw you at "Bajram Curri", you were well dressed...".
On another day, Ardit Bajrami verbally harassed the judge, after according to the latter, as he was crossing the street, Bajrami told him: "...this is a prosecutor in "Bajram Curri...".
While the last episode was on September 20, 2023, around noon, the judge was walking and Bajramaj addressed him with the words: "...guard...guard,... prosecutor...".
The judge explained that this situation has become disturbing for him and his family. He does not know the name of this person, even though he has never had contact regarding his work as a judge.
Meanwhile, after the report was received by the police, Ardit Bajrami was identified and questioned, who explained that:
"...I live on "Fuat Toptani" street, Tirana and that there is no problem with Aulon Pashaj. He may have thrown something teasing words such as chuna neighborhood.
Regarding the date September 20, 2023, he had a birthday and was in a drunken state, he does not remember what he might have said and he is very sorry for the misunderstanding, he apologizes to judge Aulon Pashaj...". / Ora News
