A 45-year-old Albanian, who was wanted since 2011 after escaping from Malandrino prison, was arrested on Saturday by the Greek authorities.
According to Greek media, the 45-year-old was arrested following an operation carried out by the Investigations Department of the Attica Security Directorate, following an investigation and evaluation of information.
The Albanian was carrying documents with different identification data, but the fingerprints confirmed that he is the wanted person.
The 45-year-old had two pending sentences of 14 years in prison and three arrest warrants for membership in a criminal organization with his compatriots, who committed robberies, serious thefts in different areas of Attica and in one case attempted murder in the context of a robbery.
