The United States has used naval drones in combat operations for the first time during recent attacks on Iran, a development that marks a new step in the use of American military technology.
The news was announced by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which announced that a facility used for the maintenance of Iranian submarines and military ships was successfully hit during the operation.
According to the official statement, three "Corsair" type naval drones were used to strike targets in the port of Bandar Abbas naval base, one of the most important strategic points of the Iranian navy.
