A 50-year-old man has been arrested by the Fier police after being sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison by the Fier Court for drug cultivation.
The arrested person is Sabri Sakutaj, a resident of the village of Dërmenas, Fier, who is charged with the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants".
"A wanted citizen, sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison, for cultivating narcotic plants, has been arrested and put in handcuffs."
The services of the Fier Police Commissariat, continuing their work to apprehend wanted citizens, based on information obtained through operational means, have apprehended and handcuffed the citizen: SS, 50 years old, resident of the village of Dërmenas, Fier.
This citizen was sentenced by the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier to 2 years and 8 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants", provided for in Article 284/1 of the Criminal Code.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police statement said .
