New details have emerged regarding the explosives explosion recorded in the early hours of the morning in Tirana.
According to the latest information, the incident occurred in the Xhamlliku area, where the explosion damaged a store of the "MCN Get Connected" network, which offers internet services owned by Endri Meksi, as well as a dental clinic near it.
According to preliminary data, there are no reports of injured people, while the damage is mainly material.
Investigators suspect that the explosive may have been placed as a threatening message, however the exact target of the explosion has not yet been determined.
The investigation team continues to work to uncover the causes of the incident and identify the perpetrators, while the analysis of evidence at the scene is awaited.
"Around 04:30, on "Xhanfize Keko" Street, in the internet service shop owned by citizen EM, a quantity of suspected explosive material exploded, causing only material damage.
"The investigation group, together with the Police services, are working to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify and apprehend the perpetrator," the police announced.
