Jetmir Llanaj, a 46-year-old man accused of being part of a group of 5 people who imposed fines on businesses, has arrived at the Lezha court.
According to the police, Llanaj used 2 minors and 2 other people whom he sent to businesses, conveying his threatening messages for unjust financial gain.
The investigation into this group had begun 3 months before the police operation was carried out after receiving clues. During this time, the group was kept under surveillance and wiretapped, completing all the evidence. The two minors were caught red-handed trying to take a sum of money from a business and after their arrest and that of a 39-year-old man in the act, the operation to arrest Jetmir Llanaj was also carried out.
Jetmir Llanaj was previously arrested for murder, after taking revenge for the murder of his 9-year-old son, Indrit Llanaj. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the first instance, but the Appeals Court reduced it, while it is learned that he has served his sentence for several months and is currently at large.
