Rayyan Alwan, a 24-year-old Palestinian woman, was found murdered in a rented apartment in Tirana. The incident is being investigated by authorities, with the suspected perpetrator identified as Fati Alwan, the girl's father.
He has left Albania and is suspected of hiding in Amsterdam.
Artan Rexhepi, a criminal expert, said on the show 'Të Pashoj' that this event shows that we do not have the capacity.
"I have very little information about the incident, but the fact that they entered Albania with false documents, a crime occurred, the suspected perpetrator fled, shows that we do not have the necessary capacities. I suspect that the crime is moral, also referring to religious belief. I am confident that the perpetrator, if he is hiding in the Netherlands, will be arrested, as he is one of the most professional police officers, not only in Europe," said Rexhepi.
