36-year-old Erind Mrruku was arrested by the police in Kamëz, after he was caught with a firearm, a pistol with a cartridge in the holster ready to be fired. The 36-year-old was previously convicted of murder and illegal possession of weapons.
" The services of the Police Station No. 5, following the work to identify and crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information provided through police intelligence, about a citizen who was moving armed on "Mother Teresa" street, in Kamez, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Cancelled".
As a result of this operation, citizen EM, 36 years old, resident of Kamez, was arrested in the act.
During the operation, on "Mother Teresa" street, the Police services stopped the EM citizen, who, during the physical check, found a pistol firearm with a ready-to-fire cartridge, a comb and combat ammunition.
Following the actions, during the search in his apartment, a holster for carrying a pistol, a pair of binoculars, three cutting tools, three mobile devices and a scale for precious metals were found, which were seized as material evidence. along with the firearm and ammunition.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions ," the police announced.
