
Three people suspected of the physical attack on Albanian citizens in Montenegro have been identified, the Police of Montenegro informs through an announcement.
"Today in the afternoon, it was reported by phone to the guardian service of the Security Department in Herceg Novi that on the main road in the town of Zelenika in Montenegro, there was a violation of public order and peace by some unknown persons," Montenegrin media write. .
"The event happened as a result of a situation in traffic communication".
The Albanian police informed yesterday that the incident happened around 14:00 in the place called Zelenika near the city of Hercegnov. The three Albanians were on their way to Germany, traveling through Montenegro in a car with German license plates, when they were suddenly attacked for no reason. The group of 6 or 7 people first hit the car, and after the Albanians got out of the car, they physically attacked them causing wounds in different parts of the body.
Regarding the serious incident, Interior Minister Taulant Balla said that he contacted the Montenegrin authorities while underlining that the 3 Albanians were attacked by people wearing military uniforms. There was an immediate reaction from the Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, who expressed his regret for the violence against young people while announcing that the perpetrators are being identified and efforts are being made to catch them.
