The show "Në Shënještër" this evening addressed the assassination of Gentian Bejtja in Fushë-Kruje, who was executed with a barrage of bullets near his apartment a few weeks ago.

Could this be one of the most sophisticated murders, where the criminal group that carried out the execution of Gentjan Bejtja, inside the yard of his apartment, was so careful in their movements that they erased any possible traces of the murder. Although more than a month has passed since the day of the execution and the crime may seem somewhat perfect, and despite the almost sterile way of doing the job, it seems that not everything has gone perfectly for the squad of shooters and the order of murder.
Apparently, during their departure from the scene, in the run to escape the police, they could not escape the security cameras, but also the eyes of the eyewitnesses. They saw them masked not far from the scene, just a few minutes after the crime was committed in the afternoon of March 15 in the village of Larushk in Fushë-Kruja. For the first time, the show "Në Shënjestër" will publish through this account what happened in the hours following the murder of Gentjan Bejtje, where Ilir Beqaraj, who also bears the surnames Brahimi and Mancellari, born in Milot, but resident in Tirana as well as Edison Haxhiu, also born in Milot and resident in the capital. Both with 8 years of education, while the first lives in one of the villas of the luxury complexes on the outskirts of Tirana.
But what seems to have betrayed the first two detainees on this criminal event, was the movement of a Black Golf type vehicle, near the place where the perpetrators' car was burned. This vehicle was seen moving fast near the village of Hasan, where the Land Rover suspected of being used in the crime was found burned.
"On March 15, 2024, around 4:14 p.m., unidentified persons shot and killed citizen Gentjan Bejtja in the courtyard of his apartment in the village of Larushk, Fushë-Kruje. Where the perpetrators, after realizing their criminal intent, left with a black 'Land Rover Discovery' brand vehicle, which a few minutes later they abandoned and burned in the village of Hasan, Fushë Krujë" , the file states.
But while it was thought that the crime was committed by a single car, in this case a Land Rover Discovery, the group of investigators is convinced that two vehicles were present in this event, which then parted ways. One of these vehicles also identified by the security cameras is a Black Golf, which was later verified as belonging to citizen Edison Haxhiu, already detained by the police.
"From the preliminary inspection of the security cameras taken by a private entity on the main road, which is connected to the alley that leads to the residence of the citizen Gentjan Bejtja, it results that at 16:14 a vehicle apparently of the brand 'Land Rover' entered there The black Discovery two minutes later, at 4:16 p.m., leaves, exiting the main road and moving in the direction of the Fushë-Kruja crossing. From the data provided by the operative route, it has been learned that the perpetrators, after burning the vehicle of the brand 'Land Rover', in the village of Hasan, Fushë-Kruje, separated and left in different directions. "Regarding a black 'Golf' type vehicle without a license plate on the back and another vehicle ," the investigation file states.
And while the 'Land Rover' type vehicle, which was seen entering and leaving in the span of two minutes in the alley that leads to the apartment where Gentjan Bejtja was later killed, was verified to have been stolen in July 2023 in the city of Shkodra, while the license plates in Tirana, at the beginning of 2024, the other black 'Golf' type vehicle suspected of being used in the crime, was seen moving without a rear license plate near the place where the perpetrators' car was burning.
"From the inspection of the security cameras of private entities near the place where the 'Land Rover Discovery' car was burning, in the village of Hasan in Fushë-Kruje, a black 'Golf' type vehicle was seen moving quickly. Which is then found on the highway, in the direction of Fushë Krujë-Vorë, and as it enters the village of Bubq. The black 'Golf' type vehicle, which turns out to have no rear license plate," the file states.
But this is not the only movement that the 'Golf' type vehicle performs during this time interval. Although at the first moment, the investigative team could not make out through the film footage, the number plate on the front of the vehicle, in the absence of the rear ones, this was possible since this car is seen moving on another route. This time only 25 minutes after the murder of Gentjan Bejtja, in the area of Ishmi in Durrës. The owner of the vehicle was also identified through the license plate.
"At 4:40 p.m., the 'Golf' vehicle is seen moving in Ishem, where the first license plate 'AB 960 GG' can be seen. From the verifications in the E-fine system, it turns out that the license plate 'AB 960 GG' belongs to the vehicle of the brand 'Wolksvagen', the model 'Golf' in black, owned by the citizen Edison Haxhiu, born in Milot and resident in Tirana. The vehicle that appears on 'Alert' was detected by the traffic police radars on August 12, 2022, traveling on the Laç-Thumane road axis, at a speed exceeding the permitted norms," the investigation file states.
It would be precisely this finding that would also lead to the identification of a second person, who is also suspected to be one of the persons who participated as an accomplice in the murder of Gentjan Bejtja, on the afternoon of March 15 in the greenhouse in the courtyard of the apartment his in the village of Larushk in Fushë-Kruja.
This person would be Ilir Beqaraj, who also had the surnames Brahimi and Mançellari, who appeared to have numerous entrances and exits from the border points with a black 'Golf' type vehicle, together with the owner of this vehicle, Edison Haxhiu and a person third identified with the initials AM
"From the verifications in the systems administered by the State Police, it results that with the vehicle of the brand 'Golf' with license plates 'AB 960 GG', they traveled and were registered at the entrance and exit of the border crossings, except for the owner Edison Haxhiu and the citizen AM and Ilir Beqaraj (alias Brahimi, or Mançellari) born in Milot and living in Tirana. In the following, film footage was administered and reviewed along the route that allegedly depicted the perpetrators approaching and leaving the scene ," the file says.
