The court of Elbasan has ordered 'prison arrest' for Jetmir Dacin, who is accused of hitting Eneida Pishkashi with a car to death and injuring her family.
He was drunk at the wheel when he was involved in an accident in Prrenjas.
The 24-year-old from Librazhdi tragically lost her life in a road accident on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane axis, after staying in a coma for several days at Trauma.
She and the other 5 family members were brutally hit by a speeding vehicle and lost control, taking what they could. On Saturday, April 13, the Trauma hospital in Tirana announced that the young woman did not wake up from the coma, she died due to serious health complications.
How did the tragic accident happen?
The afternoon of April 9 would turn out to be tragic for a family of 6 members on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane road axis, after they were hit by a fast moving vehicle. As a result, 24-year-old Eneida Pishkashi was seriously injured and ended up in a coma. After 5 days at the Trauma hospital in Tirana, she died.
The drunk driver, Jetmir Daci, who also caused the serious accident, was arrested only after the young woman died after 5 days in a coma, and not at the moment when the incident happened. According to the police, he was driving the vehicle in a drunken state, when on April 9 he crashed on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane new axis along with 4 other members of her family.
In the test done by the police on the day of the event, it was found that the 44-year-old man was drunk at the wheel at the level of 0.40 mg/l of alcohol at the time he crashed into the Pishkashi family.
