SPAK had requested a sentence of 43 years in total for the 5 members of the criminal group who provided conditions and means to carry out the assassination, but that the sentence be converted with the deduction of 1/3 of it due to the shortened trial.

According to the Special Prosecutor's Office, these citizens started pursuing Ndoj and Laho from August 2019 and provided the weapons and tools to commit the murder.

Also, the criminal group, after the failure of the objective, have provided conditions to commit murder even after the assassination of November 1, 2019.

For this incident, Redjan Rraja, the grandson of the former socialist deputy Rrahman Rraja, was sentenced to life imprisonment, and Ariol Halili to 35 years in prison.

How the event happened:

The attack on Arjan Ndoj happened on November 1, 2019 at the Shkozeti overpass. The prosecutor was traveling by car together with the citizen Aleksandër Laho, otherwise known as "Rrumi i Shijak". The driver of Arjan Ndoj, citizen Andi Maloku, was killed by the shooting.

We remind you that Redjan Rraja, who is suspected of being among the people who fired at Ndoj's car, was sentenced to life for this incident.

SPAK had as evidence the DNA traces of Redjan Rraja, which were found in several different items in the gray Mercedes-Benz vehicle that was found in the village of Shkafan in Ishmi.

A genetic profile was obtained on a pair of Emporio Armani glasses with his initials and on clothes, a hood and a pair of gloves found in the Benz car. The police also seized 136 cartridges, two automatic weapons and a pistol that were used in the incident.
