The attack that happened in front of the 9-year-old school in Rrila in Lezha, where Agron Puka was injured, has caused panic and fear among students, teachers and parents.
One of the witnesses said that the machine gun shots were heard like in the 1997 riots. As for the injured, he said that he was a regular and family man.
"It's normal that the children are scared. It was the automatic like I had in '97 here. This boy who was injured is a regular, family man. How children feel terrified. We took them from school. No, they didn't happen here, Rrila is a quiet place. I'm older than you', said the witness.
54-year-old Agron Puka was wounded by a gunshot this Wednesday morning in the village of Rrilë in Lezha.
He was driving a car when he was injured by an unidentified person.
The 54-year-old man was transported to the Lezha Regional Hospital where he is under the care of doctors, currently out of danger.
