The city of Përmet was shocked yesterday evening by the murder of 65-year-old Zeniate Muhollari, who was strangled to death by her 24-year-old son.
Albi Muhollari, in a severe state of depression, strangled his mother with plastic. Mother and son lived in America and had only 4 days since they returned to Albania for vacation.
Media sources inform that after an argument, the 24-year-old depressed suffocated the 68-year-old with plasma.
Shocked by the event, the father blames the doctor, who had not taken measures to place him in a suitable institution, even though he had expressed concern about the aggressiveness of the 24-year-old several times.
"The doctor should go to jail, not my son!" This was the only sentence the 24-year-old's father said.
It is also learned that the parents were worried about their son's aggressive behavior. They were even afraid of harming their relatives or other people.
