2 Dutch tourists who were exploring the area were stranded in Filikuri Bay in Himare. Yesterday, the police announced that one of them was injured due to the fall.
After several hours of searching, it became possible to locate and find the tourists, who were then sent to the area where they were resting in good health.
Police notification:
They had remained isolated on a steep terrain, in the bay of Filikuri, the services of the Dhërmi Border Police went to the aid of 2 Dutch tourists, one of whom was injured due to the fall.
Yesterday evening, the operating room of the Himar Police Station was informed that due to the difficult and steep terrain, 2 Dutch tourists who were exploring the area, were left isolated in the bay of Filikuri and that one of them was injured from the fall.
Immediately after receiving this notification, the services of the Dhërmi Border Police have organized the work to help the 2 tourists. After several hours of searching, the Police services, divided into search groups by sea and by land, have made it possible to locate and find the tourists, who were transported by the Border Police vessel, with the aim of immediately sending them to the premises where they rested in Himare.
Both tourists are in good health.
The Dutch tourists have thanked the services of the Border Police, for the immediate response and the professionalism shown to help the tourists visiting Vlora and all of Albania.
