Lezha police have responded to a fight that occurred today in a bar in the city, leaving one person injured.
It is learned that Nikolin and Gergj Marku, 41 years old (cousins), were injured, while the conflict began after the former MP's brother, Gëzim Ndoka, and his son Kevin, about 20 years old, allegedly asked them to lower their voices.
This was the beginning of the conflict that escalated into physical violence. Police say the two injured received medical attention and then filed a police report, claiming that the two perpetrators were armed.
The latter have been declared wanted, while according to the Lezha city newspaper, a special investigative group is working under the direction of the Lezha Prosecutor's Office to clarify and document all the circumstances of this case.
"As a result, citizens Gj. M. and NM were injured, who, after receiving the necessary medical assistance, presented themselves at the Police Station premises, where they claimed that citizens GN and KN were armed.
"Intensive searches continue to capture citizens GN and KN, and a special investigative group is working under the direction of the Lezha Prosecutor's Office to clarify and document all the circumstances of this case," the police announced.
