Kukës police arrested 52-year-old Flamur Aliaj, a wanted person for allegedly being a co-owner of 1 kilogram of explosives, 6 kilograms of cannabis sativa and a quantity of military ammunition.
Explosives, drugs and ammunition were found by the Police on July 20, 2022, as a result of the "Cooperation" operation. During it, the 52-year-old's brother and a 36-year-old, accomplices in these criminal activities, were arrested.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Kukës, for further actions.
"As a result of controls based on information from police intelligence, provided following the mega-operation "Rule of Law", the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Kuka Police Station located, captured and handcuffed the citizen FA, 52 years old, resident in the village of Brekije.
The 52-year-old was wanted, as he is accused of possessing together with his brother, a citizen of PA and a citizen of FK, both arrested by the Police, as part of the "Cooperation" operation, on July 20, 2022, 1 kilogram of explosives , 6 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotics and a quantity of military ammunition, which were found and seized by the Police, on the day of the operation," the police announcement states.
