The doctor of the security academy with the initials AX has been arrested by the police, after accusations of abuse of office. The police informs that the doctor gave fictitious reports against payment to the trainees to justify not participating in the learning process.
He provided false medical reports, against monetary amounts ranging from 1000 to 2000 ALL.
Also, the arrested doctor falsified medical reports by issuing them to students in the past as well as by issuing them to third parties without being present and without visiting him as a doctor.
"He misused the attributes given to him by the task, after the investigations of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the doctor AX of the Security Academy was arrested.
Today, on 14.12.2023, the Police Surveillance Agency, executed Decision No. 2943 dated 13.12.2023 of the Court of First Instance, General Jurisdiction Tirana, for the appointment of the security measure "Arrest with prison" for the citizen AX with medical duties at the Academy of Tirana Security, for the criminal offense of "Passive corruption by persons exercising public functions"; "Forgery of health documents provided respectively by articles 259/1188/2 of the Criminal Code.
His arrest was concluded after an investigation with special methods of several months by the Directorate of Investigation, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, where the illegal activity of the doctor A. Xh. was documented, who misused the attributes given to him by the task, in exchange for illegal benefits, issued fictitious medical reports for trainees and students of the Security Academy.
During the conducted investigations, about 45 cases of corrupt interaction between doctor AX and students/trainees, who, to justify non-participation in the learning process, fictitiously provided the medical report, against monetary amounts ranging from 1000 to 2000, were documented with legal evidence. Also, it has been proven that the arrested doctor falsified medical reports by issuing them to students in the past as well as by issuing them to third parties without being present and without visiting him as a doctor.
The data of the preliminary investigations were evaluated especially due to the circumstances of the fact, the consequence and the dangerousness of the criminal offense, where the trainees who are intended to go out into the field and ensure the implementation of the law, are educated on the contrary from their professional embryo. The Security Academy is the place where new State Police officers are trained, who in the near future will face various forms of crime and will be the guarantors of law enforcement.
