The 48-year-old man who kept the narcotic substance in the apartment, with the intention of selling it, was arrested.
The Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Gjirokastër, in cooperation with the services of the Tepelena Police Station, following the intensive operational actions carried out within the framework of the nationwide police mega-operation, anti-drug, coded "Tempulli", after providing information that a citizen possessed narcotics in the apartment, organized the work and as a result arrested the citizen VB, 48 years old, resident of the village of Lulëzim, Krahës.
During the search in the residence of the VB citizen, the Police services found and seized 2.4 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotic substance, which he allegedly possessed with the intention of selling in the city of Memaliaj.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastër, for further actions", the police informs.
